Sorry you are having a bad experience with using BBNC. I can tell you that you can setup installment and recurring gifts as a bill me later. The option is there on the donation form when you set it up.
As for customization what is it you are looking to customize?
Not sure if you have an IT department or not. But when we launched BBNC we where responsible for the certificates.
I would recommend looking at the work product document and see what BB agreed to.

Thank you for your sympathy Mel. I was not able to set up a recurring gift/pledge with installments as bill me later, and after inquiring our consultant confirmed it is not an option. If it is installments, they have to give a credit card number.

Customization would just mean being able to add our hold harmless paragraph before they hit the submit button on the event registration form. I haven't hashed out round about options for doing this yet, but am very surprised they seem to have no way to add text of our own or a hyperlink on a donation or registration form. (But, I'm a newbie. Maybe I missed it somehow or didn't ask our consultant the right way??)

Regarding the security certification - it is a mutual responsibility in our case - blackbaud did set one up for us. But, there is a glitch due to a miskew in communication. It will get resolved, possibly at extra cost, but it is a shame we had to wait until the site was live before we were able to test it.

On the event part you should have a tab at the top called helplets section. You can add html text there.

Thats a good point- would rather position it at the bottom near the submit button, but might be able to work with it at the top too. Thanks for the reminder!!! Anyway, in a week we hope to have Friends asking Friends up and running which seems to be the better option for most of our registrations anyway, and it does include the liability statement piece. Will still likely use Net Community though for those who don't like bells and whistles. Again, thank you!
