The initial release will only be available as a hosted solution. It is "on the roadmap" to offer it also as an in-house solution that organizations would manage the hardware for.

The one significant change about "hosted" solutions is that, according to Sean Sullivan, Blackbaud has ceased offering split-hosting (i.e. BBNC/RE) because of the significantly increased potential for problems when compared to an all in-house or all hosted.
