My Primary Responsibility:

Oversee daily backup, conversion cleanup for Raiser's Edge, troubleshoot minor computer issues along with a long tech company, created procedures & best practices for database system, created pdf documents to use with Raiser's Edge, helped out in a variety office functions, website assistance, training, etc.

Database Management
Records contribution data related to all aspects of development and membership, including capital, annual, major, planned, corporate, foundation, direct mail, special events, in-kind gifts, securities, special appeals and matching gifts;
o
Ensures accurate and consistent adherence to Raiser’s Edge Practice and
Procedures Manual (created & implemented), including correct use of approved codes (eg: classification, constituencies, appeals, funds, etc.);
o
Reconciles all activity with the Finance Office on a monthly basis;
o
Generatestimely acknowledgement letters and receipts for all contributions (within 2
business days of receipt);
o
Provides regular reporting and analyses as needed, including the monthly Contributed
Income Report, pledge reports and reminders, and, periodically, mailing list
pulls, yield analyses and other reports as needed;
o
Provides prospect status reports for solicitors and staff;
o
Provides and tracks mailing lists as required for solicitations, membership appeals and
renewals, special events, and other activities.

Systems
Management
o
Experience with Blackbaud Knowledge Base, RE Patches, Server and Client-Side updates, and
collaborates with IT support on deployment and installation;
o
Stays current on best practices for database management of Blackbaud;

General
o
Has a working understanding of development strategies to be able to translate
Raiser’s Edge tools in support of fund raising efforts of the Development team;
o
Participates in the development of annual fundraising plans; participate in periodic
meetings of the Board’s Development Committee, and the Development team;
o
Practiced “excellent customer service” in all dealings with the donors and staff and volunteers: courteous and patient at all times, active listening, appreciation for their interest and inquiry, prompt response to their request;
o
Provided logistical support and coordination for special events as needed;
o
Responded to phone call and email inquiries from donors and members;
o
Trained and supervised staff & volunteers assisting with mailings and other work;
o
Performsed other duties as assigned.
