7.92.5508.2 (patch 2) does not fix the issue so don't waste time when BB tells you to "update to the latest patch and see if that fixes it".

Yep, I just had to go click in the blank space (like touching a hot stove just to see if its hot).

BTW, got an email back that it's confirmed that this is an issue with this version of RE, and that a bug report has been filed.
