Otherwise, you could also create a separate record for this record but it must have the name of the donor somewhere and should not just be "folklore" where when people leave it is unknown who this donor is. You may want to put it in a note with special note type with notepad security by type to only be seen by the head of the department (and anyone else who needs to be "in the know" but not all RE users).

Or even make is a separate record in the actual name of the donor and add a special constituent code and add security by constituency to that record.
