non-spouse family at the same address

Hey guys,
I deal in a community where mothers and fathers staying with their children is common. Now, I want to record this, but putting them in the spouse bar would be silly, and I don't want to create a duplicate record, since the family usually makes contributions together. Thoughts?

non-spouse family at the same address

While this has been specifically addressed in BBEC and RE8 the best we can
do for now is to create org records for the family and add the household
members as relationships.

If the children (or parents) are already in as an Individual, the others can be added as Individual Relationships and can share the address record of the Constituent so that the addresses are linked (Relationship, Copy/Share address from Constituent). I think how you want to mail to them would be a consideration.
Just a thought.....
