hi guys,
recently our most important donor's daughter had a baby. the kid's already gotten a heap of honorary donations, and i fully expect that someday she will be a board member (the family's been board members for three generations). is it silly to set her up as a constituent? be honest. obviously, i'll set her up as a do not solicit.

I see no reason why not. It is a bit unconventional but in your case it makes some sense.

I'd research The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
I'm not sure if it will apply to you or not but I know there are special rules for handling information on children.

That said, if I was in your situation, and legally allowed to, I certainly would.
