I'd love to know what everyone out there has done to populate their fund relationship data. From what understand, there's no built-in capability to either do any globals or import fund relationships, so is our only option to enter this information manually? Has anyone developed code or hired a programmer to develop this functionality?

If you want to pay the extraordinary amount of money, I'm sure BB will be happy to write something THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THE FREAKING RELEASE!!!
I talked to BB again a few weeks ago, and there is no development plan to add this functionality to Raisers Edge... And for the amount you'll have to pay to get it, you'll actually probably save money by hiring someone to do the entries by hand...
Okay, rant complete... I can't help it, I'm a programmer and this is such an obvious flaw in a good idea I'm always astonished by it...

It's hard to imagine providing an entirely new relationship type and then neglecting to provide ANY WAY of getting the information in. Do you think they had to think that one through??
I already added this data in manually for one organization, now I have to do it again in my new job -- yaaarrrrrr............

They did the same thing with DNC on phones. We use Convio and we would love to be able to mark the hard-bounces as DNC, but you can't import that information.

I added an idea on the idea page to expose all fields for import just as we'd like for export and query. i don't know if that was already there bc i was getting an error when I tried to search, but let's vote to get it mentioned at the conference if we aren't already
