I'm going to be upgrading from 7.71 to 7.81 sometime next month. In reading the Outstanding Issues List, I see BB255014 Merging constituents causes all workstations to freeze. I'm just wondering how frequently, and under what circumstances, any of you have experienced this. I do constituent merges fairly frequently in my ongoing attempt to get rid of duplicates. If this is something that occurs only occasionally, I can probably live with it, but if it happens every time you merge constituents, I'll have to rethink the timing on the upgrade.

Hi, Jo! We are on 7.81.1334.12, and have not had that problem. However, we all know, that doesn't mean YOU might not have the problem! Wait for a few more responses and see how others have been affected.

Thanks, Bonnie. I know that many of the items on the list occur sporadically and I'm really just looking for that to be the case here, too. It's good to know that you have not had the problem.

Hmm We haven't run into the issue yet but We have only been upgraded for 2 weeks.

I don't know how many reinstalls I had to do to get random issues worked out for users. Still I am looking forward to 7.82 already. Good Luck

We are on 7.81 patch 12 and have been for some time. No merging issues have happened....yet!
