With the upgrade to 7.81, we are getting runtime errors when globally adding package & appeal to segmented Quick Letters in Mail. Here is the response from Blackbaud:
CASE_ID_NUM: 7107257 MESSAGE: ******************** The message for you follows ********************* Hi Liz, It has been determined that the Runtime error message which you are receiving in Quick Letters is an issue within The Raiser's Edge. I have been unable to find a work around for this other than to globally add the appeal and package to the constituent records. We are currently working on a fix for this resolution. I will update you on the status of this resolution when more information is available. Sincerely, Katie

The issue with Quick Letters and updated appeals and packages has also affected us but we have not received the same error message - in fact there was no error message. We found that only 180 out of a 10,000 mailing had had the appeal and package added to their record globally.

We can't add our name to a case - it is your own case number. We can only add our names to a KB solution ID. Do you know if one has been created yet? I need to add my name to this one!
Blackbaud sent an email indicating that the issue of appeals not being added to constituent records when doing a segmented mail merge has been resolved in patch 15 which just been released.
