We're in the middle of trialling RE7.8 via Terminal Services for 5 users in a remote site. Initial reactions are good and we will be rolling it out to another 30-40 users in another 11 sites. The percieved wisdom is to set up a server farm to handle the complete project.

How powerful a server did you have to use to support the 5 users? I've got a similar project on the list but we haven't started it yet.

I'm afraid I'm not party to that sort of decision, I'm guessing we'd have taken it up with BB support for a recommendation, so given all the above we've probably got Deep Blue

Sorry for butting in on the conversation, but 'Deep Blue'? ROTFLMAO!

From BB's website: http://www.blackbaud.com/files/support/system/re7.pdf

Specifically the server-side recommendations. That said, get as much RAM as you can into the terminal services server. Having a server farm is helpful, especially if you have a lot of users.
