Rep Power: 0 | Static/heat problems printing form w/membership cards attached Has anyone else expierienced problems with heat and/or static while printing forms w/membership cards attached? What printer are you using? We had initially tested the paper forms printing 2-4 forms with no problems. The forms were printed by Cenveo, Inc. I'm waiting on a call back from our printer/mailhouse (they outsourced the form from Cenveo) as I type this.
There are 2 cards embedded in the 8 1/2 x 11 form and they are coated with a plastic film on both sides. I have tried three regular lasers, one color laser, and our digital copier. I have one or more problems with all of them: static pulling multiple forms, excessive heat on the forms themselves, streaks (probably from the rollers), immediate jamming, and the heat is causing the card portion of the page to curl.
After many delays our membership program was launched on June 23. We gave our members temporary membership cards that expire at the end of July, so I really need to get these letters/cards printed and in the mail.
Any suggestions or printer recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks!
