Event Module - participant list question

I'll start this off by saying we're still on 7.80. We haven't gone farther than that because of the system requirements.

When I have a participant open in the events module, and I close that participant, it automatically goes back to the top of the participant list. So, say I'm opening participants one by one to add something to some of the records. I open Tom Thumb's participant record, and when I close , it takes me back to Jane Adams. Which means I have to scroll down to open up Mark Twain's participant record.

Is there a way around this? Is it updated in a later version? I tried to look in the knowledgebase but I don't even know what wording to start with...

Although I wish I could help you on this, I've had the same problem and haven't yet found a solution. I'm eager to hear about what you find.

"Add me to the list" of those who are frustrated on what you have described. We are using RE 7.81. No different with our Events module.

We are using 7.83 patch 4; if it was filed as a suggestion, it hasn't been implemented yet!

I just called about this and they suggested using the back and forth arrows at the top to scroll through the list, instead of saving and closing. Not ideal, so I asked them to file this as a suggestion (though once she mentioned that, I vaguely recall having that conversation with them last year about this time, as I was getting ready for the same event!).

not fixed in most recent version, sorry

Yes, we are on the most recent install and this is still a problem. It would be so much easier if one could work their way down the list, opening and closing records as needed - but it always pops you back to the top.

I'm voting for a fix, too... when your list is anywhere over about 50 people, this is crazy.
