Can anyone on the latest version (or any version higher than 7.71) tell me if the proposal funded amount automatically recalculates when you link a gift in batch to a proposal. I am on 7.71 and it does not auto re-calculate. I need to be able to tell my staff whether or not this will be fixed when we upgrade in a few months.

Hi Melissa,
We are on version 7.82 in the UK.
I just tested adding two gifts from two separate batches and linking them both to the same proposal. The gifts were £5k and £10k.

After I added the first gift, both the Amount Funded field and the text line next to the View Gifts button underneath it were updated with the correct amount of £5k.

However when I added the second gift, the Amount Funded field was overwritten rather than updated with the second gift amount. Only the text next to the View Gifts button caluculated the total, so I have Amount Funded as £10k but Amount funded from gifts as £15k.

Both of the gifts that I added were cash gifts rather than a pledge or pay-cash and they both went to the same campaign and fund.

Very interesting - so at least they have attempted to get batch to put the gift amount into that field but it still has problems when more than one gift is linked to a proposal. I'd be interested to find out if this is happening in the US version as well.
