For last two years, we have barcoded our fall membership renewals. Then our data entry people have scanned the barcodes to enter gifts thru batch. According to our membership manager, everything went fine. Now this year, we are having problems.
I am in IT dept and don't quite understand the issue, other than to say the renewal dates are not coming over??? I am being told they have to enter the person's name in order for the proper funcitonality to happen. Therefore, it makes the scanners worthless.
We have an open call with Blackbaud, but they are not providing much help.
Anyone out there who uses barcoding for membership renewals who might be willing to talk to my membership manager to see if they can help her???
