So at the current point of time in my organization, we process non online Credit Card recurring gifts by manually faxing over each donor's credit card details to an EFT company, who would then automatically deduct every month.
For one time Credit Card donations, we simply create a batch and run it through IC Verify in NetSolutions.
We don't have a recurring process for online recurring payments via Credit Card, so the donor needs to basically log on every month to donate, after which a batch would get created and we manually run it as if its a one time donation.

We would like to automate all this as much as possible. currently we have RE NetSolutions v7.x and our BlackBaud contact tells us that we have the EFT module as well (which was news to us :-) ).

Anyways - do any of you process non online donations through the EFT module as well? How is that going for you and what are the challenges you experience doing this? If the donor calls into change his/her credit card info how easy is it to change it from the EFT module?

Would you be able to share the approximate costs per credit card transaction for processing through IC Verify?

We run approximately 1,500 monthly, recurring, credit card gifts using the EFT module (as well as equivalent Direct Debit gifts). It is a very simple process, as long as you have properly set up the Recurring Gift schedule for each donor.

The first business day of each month, we use the "Automatically Generate a Transactions/Payments" choice from the Batch Tools menu, to generate the batch of all monthly payments due for the current month. This is followed by using the "Creat EFT Transmission Files", also from the Batch Tools menu. This sends the credit card data to your credit card processing company (in our case, it is IATS) and within seconds, the data is returned, showing which cards were accepted and which were rejected. NB: The transmission must be run before you commit the batch.

We LOVE the EFT module -- it has made it so fast and easy to collect credit card payments and direct debit for recurring gifts (we have monthly, quarterly and annual gifts).
