Help!

We are just getting started with Raiser's Edge. Our museum has a series of regular memberships (family, student, individual), but it also has a Cumulative Program which is unlike anything I have seen before (I'm new here!)

This program is for the larger donors. THe first year they might give $50 and they enter this Cumulative program. Next year, their donation of possibly $75 is added to the $50 to give them a cumulative balance of $125. As they build on this year after year, they climb categories. So at $300 they become a different type of member, at $500 they move again, etc. etc.

How can I track this?!

We do have the membership module but I don't see a way to use it for this type of program.

That's a really interesting method of memberships. My sugguestion is to put the cumulative number in the "Dues" area, link it to the last gift, and mark the membership as an "upgrade" to the new level of membership.
