Import Header File

Hello - we've just purchased Raiser's Edge and are compiling our data from previous databases into one single file to import. Do you know where I can find the Raiser's Edge new constituent header excel file? This will be a massive help! Cheers.

You need the ImportGuide.pdf. It has all of the fields, their headers, what they will allow and what is required for import. You can find it under the user guides on the support page of the Blackbaud website.

On a side note, if you are migrating the data for the first time to RE, you might also want to start a case with tech support. A million little things come up that make it very frustrating, but they are usually things that the support analysts already know.

Import Tables Guide in User Guides is great for showing which fields are required. Blackbaud Knowledgebase also has .csv files for download with the headers already created. Go to Knowledgebase and search the type of Import you are working on, the file is attached to the Knowledgebase answer.
