Running Queries in RE using PE criteria in an integreated environment.
Hello everyone. I'm wondering if anyone out there has run into a similar situation as I have with running queries in RE using PE criteria.
Every few days when I run any type of query in RE using PE criteria I'll get a message that states "Query too complex" with a bunch of ODBC errors in it. According to Blackbaud it's an authentication issue and every week they have us switch back and forth from windows authentication to RE authentication for logging in. We switch authentication and the query works for a few days, then I end up with the same error message until we switch authentication back. It's frustrating that the integrated environment isn't working as smoothly as we had hoped, but it seems many organizations have problems with integration.

We had this same problem for almost a year and BB was never able to help us. We've started using a private consulting firm to help us with PE & PEO - Alliance - and they fixed the problem right away. It is not an authentication issue. I'm afraid I'm leaving in an hour for a two week vacation. so I'll have to fill you in after June 9th. But here's their info
