hi anyone

if it is a MG Gift. is it any way i can out put a constituent original gift amout and it's MG Gift Amount plus MG Gift Balance? i have difficult to put all in one report or query.

why are you wanting this in the query/report? I tried a gift query and I can query on gifts that are matched, then write a custom CR to get all the other info.... would that work or are you needing the information for a different reason?

the VP wants to see all outstanding MG pledge and want to contact the constituent. also she want to know which constituent's original gift links to this outstanding MG Pledge.

if you know the query on Gifts that are matched, please tell me

Query type = gift

Criteria: Matched by Import ID not blank

Export type = gift
fields:
Gift
Gift Amount
Gift Date
Matching Gift
Gift Amount
Gift Type
Pledge Balance
Constituent
name
sort key
address block

Then in your report you can report only on those that have a MG pledge balance greater than zero.


You can query on mg balance greater than zero but that looks at the MG gift, not the originating gift.

if you are in a gift export scroll down past all the gift info... past constituent, funds, campaigns, appeals, packages, attributes... all the way to reminders sent... Matching Gifts is right after that.

My bad - I thought you were describing the output of the query - not the output in an export. Again - why would RE have a field available one place and not in another???

Yeppers, that's why I had to use export, cause RE wouldn't let me query on an original gift with MG balance of ZERO!
