trying to show all solicitors for certain records

First time that I actually want to see 'duplicates' in my query and it won't work for me. I'm trying to query all of my accounts that have a specific solicitor as a relationship but I also want to see ALL current and previous solicitors for those records. Normally when I pull a query like this I see rows of 'duplicates', each one showing a different solicitor, whether current or previous. This time I'm only seeing the specific solicitor I'm querying on, whether they're current or previous.

Constituent Query
Criteria = Assigned Solicitor Specific Record equals Joe Blow (where Joe Blow is my solicitor's name)
Output = Name (of constituent record); Assigned Solicitor Name; Assigned Solicitor Type; Total Assigned Solicitors
Sort = Name
Results are ONLY showing Joe Blow as solicitor whether he's current or previous and for most of the records the total assigned solicitors is more than one. I need to see a full list of all solicitors per record.

HELP??

I can't explain this in technical terms - only from my experience. If your criteria limits the field to only certain types that is all you will see in the output for that field. If you simply have output with no limits then you see all the one-to-many fields.

So if your query simply asked for all donors with a favorite color attribute of "blue" and you added assigned solicitor in the output you would see them all. Because limited the solicitor to Joe Blow - you're only going to see him.

Take your query to an export and you can export them all.

Blackbaud would need to write the SQL translations using subqueries for this to work the way you want. However, they have provided a mechanism to do this. You can base one query on a second query, which gets translated as a subquery. Just go into the Record Processing part of your query options and base your new query on your old query.
