Question Exporting database - fields question

Hi all, can any of you database admin. smarties please briefly explain to me what to tell our consultants? Situation is they are working on writing code to install on our server to be able to extract certain fields from the RE database when it backs-up each night to then make the info. available for our website. They are asking for the location and names of the fields and I am thinking they are talking about SQL, which I don't know. Our IT guy and myself are hoping to figure this out together (he is not from non-prof. and doesn't know RE before now) so I guess I am asking if anyone can point me in the right direction to be able to quickly understand what is going on and how I know that the fields that I see in the constituent record in RE correspond to what they are pulling? We are just doing basic contact and membership info., no gifts or anything. Much thanks!!!

You'll probably find this schema helpful
"C:\Program Files\Blackbaud\The Raisers Edge 7\Help\RE7Schema.chm

My pleasure. I should have mentioned that one of the guys here has done some of the joins for you (much Kudos). You need Crystal reports and it's in the shared files section under Crystal Reports and it' s called RE Structrure
