I used to export my month end reports to Crystal Reports, which I loved. Our healthcare system now has a new Finance system which leaves me exporting to Excel, which is fine. However, I have a question in regards to exporting constituents who have made multiple gifts within the month. Any constituent with multiples ends up with one long line of gifts, e.g. date, fund, amount, payment method, type etc are listed for as many equal gifts for that constituent. I have had to manually move over and place a list of gifts under the constit. name before I do my sorts, group sorts etc. Is there a faster way to do this? My concern is that if there are numerous gifts as in this month (and there will be also by year end) that I will miss e.g. gift no. 12 for constituent A and my totals don't match up. It just seems very cumbersome and manually labour intensive. Does any of this make sense? Thanks!
