I'm a newbie to importing and although I've been reading and doing my homework for much of the past few business days...it's a bit embarassing.
I'm importing new constituents and can't seem to find the numeric ID number of the Add/Sal formulas. I got to the Configuration, Addressees/Salutation screen and get a bit confused. I fear I'm over complicating it. Could it be something as simple as counting down the list of Addr/Sal and entering a simple number into the import list?
Please help!
Thanks in advance,

I could be wrong because I have not done that import but if you go to config, add/sal and right click on the screen - you get the option or printing the add/sal report. Each one has a number - you can try a test with one record and see if it works.
I totally looked at this report and didn't "see" the numbers. I soooo plan to do a test!
The report has the ID number, then the sample right above the table with the configuration. I find it much easier to skip the report and instead Export the Addr/Sal grid to Excel from the context menu. I usually don't need to know the exact configuration when I'm doing this, so the table in the report is just extraneous information, but it also tends to draw your eye away from what you're really looking for.
