Can someone tell me the right parameters to put in for a report to show an accurate membership retention rate? On all the reports we run now, the retention rate shows to be more than it actually is.

We too are looking for a report(s) we can run to better understand our membership patterns.. We've currently been using excel to track this (though not very accurately) but there has to be a way to handle this reporting need in RE!
We are especially interested in our newly acquired donors and how well we are retaining them, with the emphasis on the first year. Sounds easy enough but I can't seem to figure out the right report to get what we are looking for.
