I am an experienced RE user, but new to the world of pledges and could use some help. I need to produce a list through query or export that shows me the following information:

Initial Pledge Amount
Pledge Date
Current Pledge Balance

Amount of Last Gift Applied to this Pledge
Date of Last Gift Applied to this Pledge

The pledges are put in as if the member is going to pay on a 10 year cycle. My problem is - when people pay off their pledge early - the payment is still distributed across the remaining installments.
Consequently - my last gift applied doesn't reflect the actual dollar amount - just the installment.

I've tried both Gift and Constituent queries and can't seem to get the results I need.

I've considered exporting an Activity Report into Excel and then summing the Pay-Cash records that have the same gift date - but I am still holding onto a glimmer of hope that I can produce the results I need through a query.

Hey, there! I am an experienced RE user, too, but the pledge reports are really difficult to make work - at least, to the higher powers who have their own idea of what is needed. Have you tried the "Cash Flow Report"? It can be set up for 10 years and has the initial amount of the pledge in the first column and lays out the installment schedule across the board. But, it doesn't contain ALL the info you need.

The Pledge Activity Report does have all the information you need, but is not in a flow pattern. Good Luck!

Thanks for the suggestion. Cash flow still gives me installment info. I ended up doing two exports to get what I needed.
