We talked about using a video to share with prospects interested in contributing to a new campaign. Has anyone tried this? What does it cost? Does it seem to work? I think our board members want a video to show to prospects (or hand out) and there's been mixed feedback from staff. Would it work equally well (or not well) to have a flash video on the web site they can view in order to see a story?

We have found videos to be a good way to convey our mission. We use them mostly for events and have not only shown them at events, but also posted them on youtube and emailed the link to potential attendees of events. We have found them to be a good resource. We always have the creation of the videos donated. Film students are a great resource for this.
