Rep Power: 0  | At my old job we published all of that stuff on line & our donors didn't seem to mind or didn't know. It was done because it was always done that way & everybody else did it. Although, that was the rationale for a lot of stuff there.  Also, at my old job we used to have to look at competitors on-line donor listings & then try to find addresses for their big donors so we could solicit them.
Here, I'm not responsible for that at all so I have no idea what or why anything is done related to annual report/newsletters.
In my opinion it doens't seem to be a big deal one way or another. I wouldn't really care if my name was posted or not, but some major donors might not appreciate the added publicity. Perhaps that could be something donors are asked about when making their gits. |
