The Blackbaud User Society's New Year's resolution is to make the site as easy to use and navigate as possible. This wil be the first in a weekly series of tips on how to get better use out of the Blackbus. First up - receiving forum updates via email.
Yes it's true - you can interact with the Blackbaud User Society forums completely through email. There is many a holdover from the Yahoo Groups community who really love what Blackbus has to offer, but can't get past having to travel to the site, log in, locatea message, click reply, etc... You can avoid all this by receiveing notifications by email and replying to them via email.
To use this feature edit your group memberships, and join the group "Email Notification & Reply". This will subscribe you to every forum on the site. From there you can unsubscribe from the individual mailings you do not want to receive. While this tool does reduce our ad impressions and ultimately our meager revenue we feel it is more important to feel it is more important to provide the service to you. If you use the notification service, please consider making a donation of $5 to the Blackbus.
