Rep Power: 2  | I'm glad you got resolution - I was going to suggest that you try to call again. Remember that the advice you get from calling any customer assistance line depends on the person you happen to get on the other end at the time - their knowledge in the area you are asking about, and unfortunately their lack of same mixed with an ego problem (or just somebody having a bad day and taking it out on you) can make for trouble.
When you are pretty certain you have an issue that wasn't handled properly, I'd call again and get someone else and start over.
(This from someone who's worked in reception for many a year - been on both ends of similar situations many times - and I certainly hope I never treat a caller that way - even if he had been right, it shouldn't have been handled that way.)
