Has anyone ever experienced the following with their RE database.
When we open a record (any record) it takes anywhere from 1 - 2 minutes for it to open. Once the record is open, if you click on any of the other tabs (eg. Gifts), it can take an additional 1-2 minutes to open. The Gift tab takes a lot longer than 2 minutes, maybe 3 - 4 minutes.
Queries and Exports take a very long time to open as well. Queries can take anywhere from 1-5 minutes and Exports take even longer. Some users took 45min to 1 hour just opening up the one Export.
Blackbaud have been able to duplicate the issue, but so far they haven't been able to determine what is causing the problem.

Yikes! We did have some slowness way back, but nothing like that. I think BB solution was that we had to send them our data to analyze for, don't want to alarm you, corruption.
I hope that they can help you. Maybe one of our tech experts here on the bus can offer some suggestions. I am assuming you have the proper specs to run your version of RE.

I was born with nothing, and I still have most of it.
The problem has been resolved. Turns out there was some information stored within Raiser's Edge regarding Netcommunity. BB sent a patch to clear all links pretaining to Netcommunity, we're back up and running at 100%. Running like this for 1 week was enough, I'm glad they were able to resolve the issue.
