How do other organizations handle these? Do you enter them in Raiser's Edge? if so do you enter it just as a normal pledge? Or would you even enter this pledge at all?
We are fully integrated between raiser's and financial edge and my problem is we want to recognize the pledge in our campaign reporting but the accounting folks can not enter this pledge until all conditions have been met.
So I'm not sure how to enter this in or if we should even do so at all. If I do enter this in, as we do utilize the gift subtype feature, I may try to enter this in as a gift type Pledge with a gift subtype of Conditional Pledge so that we know it's there and can report on it but distinguish it from the other normal pledges. I would also mark it as DO Not Post so that it is not posted over to financial edge.
Any ideas on how to handle this would be great. Thanks
