knowledgebase is temporarily unavailable

Anyone else getting this message often when they try to access KB? Like, more than 50% of the time? Before I started complaining to blackbaud about it I figured I would do a quick poll.

I've had trouble lately but usually I wait a bit and then it lets me in.

Intermittent problem for me.

As long as we're unleashing our pain with KB, what about the back button being "broken" by design -- a navigation / interface design choice that should (in my opinion and in that of many many many others) be avoided in most situations. But the "List" link goes back!, I know, I know, but it doesn't make me smile :|

Also, why not let Google index the base of knowledge. If public access is an issue, then implementing a Google Search Appliance could resolve that I believe.

OK, now my positive word of the day: the Blackbaud Knowledgebase is still the Wikipedia of all things Raiser's Edge (alright that's a stretch, but I'm trying) ... life would be more painful without it.

totally, someone should start a 'daily whine' thread--somewhere to vent what's bothering you about RE that day.

But this one's about KB and if I'm the only one with issues. Hmm.... I wonder if it matters if you're using Firefox or IE.

I don't know if this will work for you, but it does for me - I hit the back button twice. I can usually go back one screen anyway.

Thanks, Anne Marie!

It does work*. However, based on a quick test I just did (IE 7), after to get go further than two clicks deep, you can't back button your way back to the original search criteria page.

It is better than nothing, and there always Ctrl-Shift-Click in Firefox & IE7 to open in a new tab. So, at the end of the day it's not a huge in and of itself.

I've found that if I click on the middle word "list" then it will go back to the list of solutions....usually!!! Sometimes it doesn't work, but for the most part it's better than the "back, back" thing!!

Don't they say that daily wine is good for your health?
It's an issue with IE, Firefox and MSN browsers.
