Rep Power: 0 | I'm stuck...need help! Hi Everyone, I'm between a rock and a hard place and here is the story: I'm the IT Manager for the NJ District Council of the Assemblies of God we have been using The Raiser's Edge since Version 6 came out. From the beginning till March 2007 we have been under the support contract from Blackbaud. We decided that the costs to maintain the database was too costly and decided to find another vendor for our database that better fit our needs, thus dropping our support contract with Blackbaud. Now our problem: While we were still under contract with Blackbaud I upgraded our database to rev. level 7.80.1122.0030. This is what we are currently running. I need to transfer our database to another server to archive our old data, but I lost my upgrades to The Raiser's Edge. I believe I was the aggressive one and deleted before checking for backed up copies. I still have my original 7.61 CD's, but that doesnç¨ allow me to transfer my current database because its at the previous stated version. What I have done: I have called my account manager and told him this story and asked if there was any way to get a copy of the back rev to transfer the DB. He said I would have to pay $4500 to cover 2007 and another $4500 in advance to cover 2008 before he could help. We cannot afford $9000 just to get a back rev of The Raiser's Edge to transfer a database to another server. My account Manager said he would see what he could do, but a week has gone by and I haven't heard a word. This is what I need: The current rev level of 7.80.1122.0030 I believe is a combination of the first release of 7.8 and the first upgrade for 7.8. If any one can help me I would appreciate greatly. Please call me at my office (609) 747-7878 x223 or email me at dawseym@njag.org. Also, I would ask only those who can help contact me or reply to this post. I already know I made a big mistake! Thanks! -Dawsey Medlin
