I have a pivot report that includes about 50,000 gifts. Everything runs fine until I click on the Export to Excel icon. When Excel opens I click on the Enable Automatic refresh, but the data in the rows and columns never shows up. However, if I press the Esc button I can see the Field list, and I can drag the fields and only then the data appears. Of course, it took me a while to figure this trick out.
I'm using Excel 2003 SP3. I don't have problems like this with smaller reports. Support cannot help me with this because it is a "third" party application. Is anybody else having the same problem? I have tried to look something up in the Excel Knowledgebase, but couldn't find anything.
