Question RE7Outlook.dll not loading

I've lost the RE toolbar in Outlook (2002) at some point recently.I've re-installed RE7.81, I've logged in on another PC and it still won't work for me or System Admin, I've gone through all the steps in BB97679 have all the right permissions and simply cannot get the RE7Outlook.dll file to load in. I can browse and select it through the COM Add In Manager but it will not appear in the viewing pane. Anyone else experienced this?

I just noticed the same thing yesterday. We upgraded to 7.81 about 3 weeks ago, and have installed every patch.

I had this. I had to remove the COM Add-in, then add it again. Call customer support if that doesn't work, and reference case #7068357

it's a case number, not a KB solution number. Give that number to whomever you talk with at customer support.

Hello, we've not yet upgraded from 7.80 and are having this issue - so I don't think it's something that's been lost because of that. We've been going back & forward with the Blackbaud team who are trying their best to sort it out, in collaboration with their US counterparts. The knowledgebase solution BB97679 seems to work temporarily, but then may stop working after some time. It all seems to be resolved if you're set up as an administrator (IT not RE) as you will have all the right permissions, but as soon as you revert to monkey it all goes wrong again.
Try the knowledgebase anyway, if you haven't already. It may work...
