Excel help needed

I am filling in an Excel form. The form has large blocks made of about 60 lines rows in one column merged to make one large cell. There are several of these and I am to type my response in each. When typing in this merged cell, the words display in the formula bar as I want them, but when I look at the actual cell or print preview the form, only part of the words in the response are visible. Is there a setting or something that will make all the text visible in the cell? There is plenty of room in the merged cell to contain my response. The cell is formatted to wrap the text.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Check to see if the format of the cell(s) are text; then check your alignment (these options are found under the format-cells- menu)

Can you provide a screenshot of what is appearing?

Hi,

Hi, to me it sounds like the data is hiding at the bottom of the 60 row merged cell.

By default, the cell will fill from the bottom, and in one this big it would be hard to see on a page.

IF you scroll down below or around row 61, do you see a blob of data?

Solution.
Right click in the cell and select Format Cell, then the Alignment Tab
Then ensure the VERTICAL TEXT Alignment is set to TOP.

Regards

Sean
