Rep Power: 2  | Here are the different statements I use: The IRS does not allow nonprofit organizations to place a value on donated items. Please retain this letter with your tax records as substantiation of your contribution. This letter is your receipt for tax purposes. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast affirms that no goods or services were exchanged in connection with this donation. This serves as the tax receipt for your gift. In accordance with IRS regulations, our good faith estimate of the value of dinner and bar service is $80 per guest. Any contribution above this amount is eligible for a charitable deduction. Your gift may be recognized in future Big Brothers, Big Sisters publications. If you prefer your gift remain anonymous, or have questionsabout your gifts designation, or would like to learn more about Big Brothers, Big Sisters services, please contact the Development Department at 941-488-4009.
