We've just upgraded to 7.84 and now when we merge Constituent Letters, the Bank Account Number is showing XXXX in place of the first 4 digits. Does anyone know how to change this so that the Account Number is showing in full?

It's happening under Supervisor rights, so I don't think it's a rights issue.

It's based on an Export but going through the Constituent Record Letter menu. Do you think it's something to do with Criteria in the Export?

It is

In the Export Output Screen highlight bank account number and click on the Format button on the bottom - You'll get the option of Masked or Unmasked - (You can set the security on this to certain users)

If you do a search in the help topics for Personal Information Security Details, it sets it all out nicely.

You said that it's also happening under Supervisor rights, so I don't think you will be able to change this on user's rights. In 7.83 the masking of the ssn was under the Privileges, Personal Information; I'm not sure if you'll find the masking of the bank account there.

I'll have a look once this Export finishes...

I think it might be there as the Export itself had been marked to mask the numbers, so had nothing to do with rights yet.

In Security, it's there under Personal Information alright - basically you can choose for someone to be able to see, add, output & view. Not specifically masking in letters or not so I guess they'll now have to change all those letters they have set up that have been defaulted to mask during the upgrade.
