We are investigating the process for sending 6 month follow-up letters to all our donors. We would have approximately 12 letters for over 100 funds. Initially, they would like this to go out to donors 6 months from their gift date. I feel we can set this up in actions that would be recorded when the gift is processed and then code the letter to show which letter they would get. I have many questions, including how to make sure that consistent donors do not get a follow-up letter unless they have now given to a different fund. My thoughts are to limit the 6 month letters to a dollar amount, i.e. $100 or above. We process approximately 5,700 gifts a year. I would greatly appreciate any ideas you may have and if you are currently doing 6 month follow-up letters, I would love to talk with you.
