Is there a way to integrate Raiser's Edge with Outlook so that the user isn't prompted to allow R.E. access to Outlook each time R.E. tries to send an email?

Blackbaud says their official way of doing this is via a 3rd party tool from ContextMagic called Click Yes. So I purchased and installed Click Yes on everyone's pc, only problem is now each user is consuming two concurrent licenses - one for themselves when they log into R.E., and one for their Outlook because it seems to be logging into R.E.

We're desperate and neither Blackbaud nor Click Yes have been able to help. Blackbaud suggested I try the user forum, so here I am.....

If you have the VBA module it may be possible to write some code on opening up of RE that starts a thread and polls the Windows environment. Using the Windows API it would look for a window from Outlook (it would look for the title of the window) and then when it appears it would "press yes". This probably works the same way as the click yes program but the difference being that since you are starting it from within the RE session you are not starting a new RE licence instance

The code though is not for the faint of heart! I imagine it coudl be quiet complicated. You will probably need a professional!

WE use Express ClickYes. This was a freebie, and we can install it on multiple workstations. It works well but I just need to make sure it is running as you can turn it on and off.
