Hi

I have letters saved in Mail Merges, but I can't see the letters themselves unless I run the Mail Merge, it seems. Does anyone know how to view the letters without running the merge?

It's a simple mail merge so only one letter per Merge.

Sorry, Ida. It is just not possible. It has been filed as a suggestions so check Knowledgebase and add yourself to the list of people who want this feature. (please actually do this - It needs support to be brought up on the priority list.)

We save the letters in a Word file. So we cannot view them in RE, but we can in Word. Not great, but we've referred to the letters a lot of times and reprinted them etc from the Word documents.

The letters are not linked to particular constituents, but each Word document is named with the date of receipt/letter.

We use the Word Merge Wizard in Mail to produce our receipts/ ack letters.

But I have added my name to the list (several times, probably) for that suggestion in the past.

It would be wonderful to have these letters and receipts created in Mail right in a constituents's record in RE.

Always hopeful that some day these "lists" will be acted upon in a future version.

I think she wants to see the Mail Merge Template - not merged letters.
