Hi

Anyone ever get this message when in Mail or Reports?

We've just upgraded to 7.81 today and I have been getting this message throughout Reports and Mail.

If I say YES, it goes merrily along. If I say NO, it has a fit and my list of previous reports disappears. Of course I cannot continue opening reports etc until I answer yes.

Logical, but it's a pain to be interrupted like this continually. It happens when opening, saving, switching between Mail and Reports and so on.

Am I having fun yet?

Yes, I've gotten that message before while using 7.5 and 7.6. I currently don't have RE installed on my home laptop. It would seem to occur when I had a slooooow connection, usually over a VPN login. At Brooks School they are on 7.81 but I haven't run into that message yet.
And I agree, it was more than annoying!

Interesting. We have only 512 MB of RAM and are going to increase to 1 GB. I am hoping that will help with the "slowness" as we certainly have experienced that since upgrading.

I don't know if that will help with a slow connection that you mention, but we'll give that a try. Before the upgrade, we'd get Object Variable Errors all the time, and crash repeatedly. The upgrade and patch 14 were supposed to fix that, and now we have this new glitch.

Guess I'm expecting too much for my RE to be problem-free!
