POSITION NUMBER: 16846 (A&P) LOCATION: Alumni Affairs MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience. PREFER: Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge of database systems, transaction processing procedures and design tolls. Candidate must have the ability to write and articulate effectively. Excellent skills in developing and making presentations and writing article for various media and journals are desired. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to: * Coordinate the planning and design of computer-based information systems for the Department of Alumni Affairs to support original and independent research projects and programs; * Maintain knowledge and overview expertise on current industry software to support research and database requirements; * Manage one or more computer-based information system and formulate and recommend policies and procedures to effectively administer those systems; * Design, develop, and conducts special studies in the assigned functional area of information systems; and * Attend, represents the University and make presentations at professional meetings. ** Salary is based on educational requirements, experience and knowledge, skills and abilities.
