High energy Person needed in a multi-tasking fund-development department. Position Qualifications- •Ability to work independently and effectively with volunteers, staff and others. •Maintain primary donor database,(DonorPerfect, and Auction database, Auction MaestroPro). Will Train for use of these 2 programs. •Work with all agency departments in need of donor information. •Manage and respond to all donor calls,acknowledge donors. •Enter all sources of income into database. •Provide writing and editing assistance. •Prepare all event-related mailings. •Research information for solicitation for major gifts. • Provide assistance to the Development Director to develop a relationship with major donors. •Assist Development Director to prepare documents for funding consideration (foundations, businesses, civic groups, etc). Additional Qualifications: Computer experience,(Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher). Excellent written and communication skills. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
