Position Summary:
Under moderate supervision and with moderate latitude for independent judgment, maintain/enhance the fundraising database, record gift revenues and perform a variety of related tasks in support of the Institutional Advancement Division's data and development needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform all gift entry and prepare related reports and paperwork. - Generate Raiser's Edge and related Crystal reports, lists and labels using database queries and system menus. - Perform biographic and demographic updates of alumni, donors, corporations, foundations, etc., as well as codification to maintain the Raiser's Edge database. - Import and export data between Microsoft Excel, Word, Raiser's Edge, and other database programs. - Produce gift receipts, donor acknowledgments and internal mailings through data import and mail merge. - Organize and maintain Office Services hard copy files. - Organize and maintain Office Services computer files on the Institutional Advancement server and ensure backup of all development files on the server. - Assist the Office Services Manager with IT related installations and projects. - Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Experience: Data management and Raiser's Edge software experience required. Skills: Must have computer skills, including Excel and MS Word, as well as ability to use database query language. Other: Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills required.
