University Advancement
The purpose of this position under administrative direction, manage the Advancement Services department and direct support and coordination for all advancement information systems for the University. Also under administrative direction, manage the development of Division-wide policies and procedures, including coordination of budget and personnel issues for the Division of University Advancement. Serves as a senior member team for the Division University Advancement. Supervise and administers all systems within the Division of University Advancement, including the alumni and development database. Directs the development and maintenance of policies and procedures manual. Coordinates the development of policies and procedures regarding budget and personnel issues. Plans, develops and establishes comprehensive staff development program for advancement services staff, in conjunction with Vice President. Performs other related duties as assigned. MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree plus 5 - 7 years experience in managing an advancement services effort, preferably in higher education. Official transcript required at the time of application. A proven track record of success in database management and systems analysis at an institution of higher education. Capital Campaign experience is preferred. Advanced degree preferred. Must have excellent organizational, management and fundraising skills. Comprehensive knowledge of advancement services. Results oriented and practical. Politically savvy - i.e.; be aware of what to do as well as what not to do. Decision making skills. Analytical thinking. Conceptual thinking, focused. Forecasting skills; proactive. Research skills. Detailed oriented. Knowledgeable of industry trends, models and practices. Computer literate. Presentation and communication skills.
