Northwest Area Foundation VICE PRESIDENT FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION Founded in 1934, the Northwest Area Foundation ( www.nwaf.org ) is dedicated to helping communities reduce poverty for the long term. It does this by identifying, sharing and advocating for practical strategies and tools developed or gathered from its programs in its eight state region of MN, IA, ND, SD, MT, ID, WA and OR, and from the work of other communities and organizations. Based in St. Paul, MN, NWAF manages more than $450MM in assets, and makes annual grants exceeding $12MM. The VP Finance and Administration is a key member of NWAF's management team and provides leadership for accounting, budgeting, investments, IT, HR, contract and grant management, and facility management. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years' experience in finance, accounting or business management with a multi-faceted nonprofit or foundation. He/she will embrace NWAF's mission, demonstrate creativity and excellent judgment, and exhibit the utmost professionalism and respect toward others.
