Description:
Stand Among Friends, is in the growth and expansion stage for developing a recently opened practical assistance, support, and resource center for people with neurological disabilities.

This position will direct the fundraising needs in securing general gifts from individuals, corporations and foundations. It will also direct the fundraising needs for campaigns and is identified as a development priority to secure gifts from individuals, corporations and foundations. Oversee donor fundraising, events and cultivation programs. Implement proper donor recognition and reporting. Serve as a member of the management team. Identifies, qualifies, and solicits appropriate private, corporate, and foundation sources of support in other areas that are not designated for a particular area of the campaign. Helps plan and participate in special programs for development. Develop and manage a grant writing program.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in fundraising and development including a proven track record of successful obtaining major gifts, fundraising, including special gift identification and cultivation and solicitation. Must have excellent written, and verbal communication skills. Must have strong reporting and organizational abilities and be goal oriented. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
