Director of Development Services Grand Valley State University, located in Western Â* Michigan, seeks a focused, systems thinker to join Â* the University Development team as Director of Â* Development Services to manage and direct the Â* information services support areas for the Â* department. Â*As a member of the Senior Development Â* Team, the Director will manage, develop and Â* implement a comprehensive array of services to Â* support all fundraising, cultivation and stewardship Â* efforts. Â* The successful candidate will work closely with the Â* Vice President of Development, the Development Â* officers, and the staff under his or her supervision Â* to grow and continuously improve the services area.Â* He or she will manage the alumni/development Â* database of constituents that includes alumni, Â* donors, friends, corporations, foundations and other Â* organizational records. Â*This candidate will Â* directly supervise staff members who provide user Â* support services, data and systems, gift/pledge Â* entry and management; all financial and information Â* reporting and utilization; and biographical and Â* prospect research data management.
